About Newmarket Basement Pros
Local basement waterproofing for York Region homeowners. We do one thing and we do it well.
Why we exist
Most homeowners deal with a wet basement once. We deal with one every single day. That experience makes the difference between guessing at a problem and actually solving it.
We started Newmarket Basement Pros because too many homeowners get sold expensive systems they don't need - or worse, get fixes that don't actually solve the problem. The basement waterproofing industry has a reputation problem, and we want to be the local company that earns trust by giving honest answers.
What you can expect from us
- A real diagnosis. We look at the inside, the outside, and the grading before recommending anything. The right fix depends on the actual problem, not what's most profitable.
- The smallest fix that works. If you need a $500 crack injection, we'll tell you it's a $500 crack injection. We won't quote you a $15,000 system to upsell you.
- Free on-site inspection. Booked at a time that works for you. We come out, look around, and give you a written quote.
- Local crews. York Region waterproofing specialists who know the soil, the housing eras, and the local code requirements.
- Lifetime workmanship warranty. If our fix fails, we come back. The warranty is transferable to the next homeowner if you sell.
- Honest pricing. Written quote before any work. No surprises on the invoice.
Our service area
We work across Newmarket, Aurora, Bradford, East Gwillimbury, Holland Landing, King City, and surrounding York Region communities. Our home base is Newmarket and most jobs are within 20-30 minutes of our crews.
Our approach to basement waterproofing
The single biggest thing we do differently: we figure out where the water is actually coming from before we recommend any work. Most "basement waterproofing" jobs done badly were jobs done without a proper diagnosis. A wet basement can come from foundation cracks, weeping tile failure, sump pump issues, window well drainage, surface water problems, or a combination. The work that fixes one source can fail to address another.
We take 30-45 minutes on the inspection. We look at the inside walls, the outside grading, the gutters, the downspouts, the sump pump, and the soil. We ask about when the leaks happen and the conditions when they do. Then we tell you, in plain language, what's actually going on.
What we don't do
- We don't pressure-sell. Free inspection, free quote. No obligation. If you call other companies for second opinions, we encourage it.
- We don't lock you into long contracts. Pay per job, no monthly fees, no surprise renewals.
- We don't use scare tactics. If your situation is serious, we'll explain why. If it's not, we'll tell you that too.
- We use our own crews. Not a national franchise routing your job to a partner network.
